Jenny Rock- Certified Advanced Rolfer™
Hello Fellow Rolfers!
My name is Jenny Rock and I would be grateful for your vote so that I may continue serving on the DIRI Board of Directors. As a practicing Rolfer® for 24 years, and having established practices in four states, I have both a passion for what we do, and a deep understanding of where we have room for improvement. I joined the DIRI Board four years ago, in the midst of COVID-19 and those unprecedented challenges. We have made great strides since my time on the Board and have emerged stronger, more organized, and more focused than before.
In my view, the WORLD needs greater access to the level of health and well-being that Rolfing® offers. To that end more people need to know what Rolfing® Structural Integration is and what it can do for them, and more people need to train to become Rolfers™. My focus is to do what it
takes for the school to thrive, and for each of us thrive.
In my time on the Board we have done the following, just to name a few:
• Streamlined expenses to better prioritize and allocate resources.
• Improved the DIRI website SEO, content, and public interaction (ongoing); 1) making every Rolfer™ easier to find, and 2) more people are now finding Rolfers™ while searching for other therapies.
• Opened a satellite campus in Atlanta, GA.
• Strengthened our training programs so that new students have a more cohesive academic experience, including business development.
• Found a new home for our Colorado Campus with expanded offerings to better serve everyone.
The following projects have been my focus on the Board, and I hope to have the chance to continue to move the following forward:
• Member Support - I spearheaded prioritizing member support in all areas so that every Rolfer™ will have everything they need for an ongoing thriving practice.
• Webinars - I began leading webinars to attract new students to DIRI which has now expanded to others doing webinars. These are being used for marketing, and we are working towards expanding all of this across social media increasing brand recognition.
• Public Awareness & Public Relations – I have written two published articles regarding the benefits of training at DIRI. By strengthening and expanding our focus here, we can make “Rolfing®” a household name and a more valued service.
• DIRI expansion – By opening more locations we make our training more accessible, the side effect being that more people will know about Rolfing®, much like physical therapy, chiropractic, and even Pilates.
I believe there is more work for us to do, and I want to continue to lead and be part of the team that makes that happen.
• Social Media - We are in the midst of vast improvements to our entire social media presence, and we have a long list of more to do.
• Vision - Expand our vision for what our Institute can become and then proactively takes steps to realize that vision.
• Research - Enhance and promote research so that our work is more commonly understood.
• Legislation - Spearhead changes that will help us all.
I am asking for your support to stay a part of the team that leads the way to a strong DIRI and stronger Rolfing® practice for each of us. If for any reason you have questions prior to casting your vote, please feel free to contact me. I can be reached at 503-890-9365 (text or voice) or jenny@BodyBalancePortland.com.
Thank you for your consideration~

Jenny’s comprehensive platform statement speaks for itself. Her dedication and commitment to DIRI have been well demonstrated during her first term as a Board Member. For new Board Members, it often takes some time to orient oneself and prioritize the organizational tasks, and it is during subsequent terms that their vision and leadership can become even more effective. I have no doubt this will be the case for Jenny. During her first term Jenny’s enthusiasm and commitment to working for the good of DIRI and its members has only increased. Now she’s telling us her work is not done. I’m listening and will be voting for her again. We and DIRI are fortunate to have her leadership and commitment to our membership organization and school.
