Before you apply to study Rolfing® at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute, please take a moment to review the following requirements.

We have Rolfing® programs open for applications from both experienced bodyworkers and those completely new to bodywork. All applicants must submit the following documents:
A high school diploma is considered valid if the institution is:
a.) Regionally accredited.
OR
b.) Registered with the State Division of Non-Public Education as a homeschool.
Note: For applications to classes held outside of Colorado, your diploma will be evaluated based on guidelines from the respective state’s department of education.
You must provide one of the following:
a) An official academic transcript (equivalent to an AA degree or occupational certificate) showing at least 60 credit hours at an institution of adult or higher education.
OR
b) Documentation of a minimum of four years of equivalent career experience and professional accomplishments.
International Students Enrolling in Lafayette, CO:
Please indicate the need for an I-20/M-1 Visa and submit your completed application, including a copy of your passport ID page and official TOEFL scores, no later than 60 days before the class start date.
Note: Only students attending the Rolfing®Certification Program in Lafayette, CO, are eligible to receive an I-20/M-1 Visa.
In addition to submitting the documents listed above, all applicants must receive the following Rolfing® sessions:
Receive the Rolfing Ten-Series®
Applicants must provide proof of completion of a full Rolfing® Ten-Series from a Certified Rolfer®.
DIRI reserves the right to require a physician's release for any student.
Receive Rolf Movement® Sessions
Three Rolf Movement sessions with a Certified Rolf Movement Practitioner® must be completed by the end of Phase II of Rolfing® training. At least one must be completed before the start of Phase II.

We welcome experienced bodyworkers who have completed some prior training. Students who plan to transfer hours into the Rolfing® Certification Program must provide the following:
Documentation demonstrating completion of a minimum 250-hour bodywork program.
Your transcript must include:
Provide evidence of 50 documented hours of post-graduate massage practice OR comparable clinical experience.
