Since 1975 I have been Rolfing babies and children beginning with a couple of Dr. Rolf’s grandchildren. In 1978 Dr Rolf saw something in me and choose me to implement and manage a project to demonstrate, document, and promote the benefits of Rolfing this population. We produced a monograph (10,000) copies are floating around the universe. Also produced an award winning documentary The Promise of Rolfing Children.
Since then I have worked with and documented the benefits of over 350 whole families, as young as day one, as deep as four generations. Babies and children with no problems as well as ones with developmental challenges, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, scoliosis, Spina bifida, scoliosis and more
Robert Toporek is the only high school dropout trained by Dr Rolf.
Spent 2 years in Charleston SC working in anti poverty programs.
Awarded a one year Leadership Develpoment Ford Foundation
Fellowship. Spent a year at Esalen Institute trained to lead
Encounter/Gestalt groups. Worked directly with Dr Rolf last four years of
her life.
Been in practice for over 50 years.
